Every time I get a new sweater, my mom always asks me, “Why’d you buy that? We live in Phoenix.” However, I can’t help myself. I love a good chunky knit. Plus, they come in handy when I travel to colder places like Sweden or when I head up north for a day trip.
Forever 21 had a great sale on sweaters a couple of weeks ago and I had to grab a few including a super cute orange one that I wore to Flagstaff recently. I paired it with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, some black boots and a tan wide brim hat. I completed the look with my favorite pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and some hoop earrings.
This outfit provided me the perfect level of warmth during the day, but when the sun went down I could have definitely used a jacket. I think a cute leather one would have looked great with this outfit.
